Jamie Cooke is the Head of RSA Scotland, leading the organisation’s work across a broad range of topics and thematic areas. Areas of interest include resilient cities, the future of work, inclusive growth and civic participation, alongside international relationships between Scotland and the rest of the world (especially the US, Australia, New Zealand and France).
Jamie is a leading advocate, writer and speaker on the subject of Basic Income, a hot topic in Scotland and across the world. Jamie is the co-author of the recent RSA report Pathways Towards a Universal Basic Income, has spoken in a diverse range of global media and live settings, including TEDx Glasgow, and has recently returned from being a key note speaker at the Basic Income World Congress in Tampere in Finland. He sits on the Executive Committee of Basic Income Earth Network (BIEN) and on the Board of Citizens’ Basic Income Network Scotland (CBINS).
